Red Wings trade talk: Well-traveled Jaroslav Spacek is steady defenseman with experience

2011-12 stats: 35 games, three goals, eight assists, 11 points, plus-3 rating, six penalty minutes.
Career stats: 869 games, 80 goals, 271 assists, 351 points, plus-46 rating, 616 penalty minutes.

Contract: Final year, with a salary-cap hit of $3.8 million. He can become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.

Strengths: A good passer who sees the ice well, he is a steady defender. He has been a plus player in each of the past seven seasons, with five different teams. Described by The Hockey News as “a good team player and very likeable.''

Weaknesses: He is not physical. He's getting long in the tooth and has been injury-prone the past couple of years.

Why he'd be a good fit with Red Wings: This team values experience. He can play the point on the second power-play unit and kill penalties.
What it might take to get him: Prospect or second-round pick.

Chances Red Wings will acquire him: He probably isn't near the top of their list, but the options for depth defensemen are limited, as few teams are sellers and, as a result, asking prices are high.

Would Spacek fit in well on the Red Wings' third defense pairing, or should they pursue someone more physical and gritty? Or should they stick with what they have on defense?

for copyright infringement, I had to really step back and recognize the
risks associated with continuing this site. I am expecting my first
child in August, and I cannot go to jail over something like this site.
I have made the unfortunate and difficult decision to stop streaming
any and all NHL games. I have no plans of moving the site to a new
domain or to continue streaming elsewhere. I hope you enjoyed the
streams this season, and I am sorry that I can not continue providing
this service to you. You can thank the NHL for ruining the party!

ja stvarno ne znam kako maximalno 1000+ korisnika moze poremetiti citav jebeni NHL zajedno sa televizijama.. kakvi su to cifuti.. pa Israel je mala maca, ma i tamo bi sirotinji dali da gledaju
