Newfoundland Senator Fabian Manning was hospitalized last month for cuts, bruises and a minor head injury after his car hit a moose west of St. John's.

There's also a class-action lawsuit before the courts by victims of moose collisions who say the provincial government is liable for introducing the mammal to the province from New Brunswick in 1904.

The government says it will defend itself against the lawsuit's allegations in court.

There are about 700 moose collisions in the province annually, some of which are deadly."

Toronto je sad za vikend igrao 3 za redom u 3 dana (back to back to back) kao sto se ponekad igra u AHL i dobio je sve tri. Cestitam!

AHL draws record crowd with outdoor game

As it turns out, outdoor games aren’t just a great draw for the NHL and NCAA.

The AHL’s Hershey Bears and Adirondack Phantoms drew 45,653 fans to
their own outdoor tussle at Citizens Bank Park, the same site as the
2012 Winter Classic, breaking the minor league’s attendance record in the process.

In fact, the game blew out the league’s two other outdoor games,
which peaked at 21,508 fans who attended a Syracuse, N.Y. game. NHL.com
reveals that Philadelphia now holds the AHL attendance records for both
regular season and playoff games.

As far as the contest itself, the Phantoms (Philadelphia Flyers
affiliate) topped the Bears (Washington Capitals affiliate) 4-3 thanks
to Shane Harper’s overtime goal.

Marliesi su pobedili 7-2, 1+2 je imao Nicolas Deschamps, po 3 asistencije Jerry D'Amigo i Philippe Dupuis.

Inace, Marlies su prvi u PK u AHLU. Zigomanis?
